R. C. Duff was born Robert Cecil Duff, in 1877 in Lee County, VA. He descended from a long line of Duffs who came to the area from Belfast, Ireland in the latter 1700's.
RC Duff married my Great Aunt, Matrtha Boyd Tompkins and they settled in Stickleyville, VA. Many of the Duff sons, through the years, served our country faithfully in all conflicts.
Thank you for a bit of Duff history of which I was not aware.
