Douglass High School To Get Historical Marker

The Tennessee Historical Commission voted Friday February 19, 2010 to approve an historical marker for Douglass High School. The marker should be erected sometime this summer.

Here is the first reference to "Douglas High School" in the Kingsport Times of September 1927.



And here is a record of the school's athletic teams compiled for the 1965 Kiwanis Club annual.
